Juicy Pulled Pork

This recipe is so easy to make, its a lazy recipe and perfect for a relaxing Sunday.

Ingredients

  • 1 x Shoulder of Pork
  • 1 Tsp of Sea Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp Rich Brown Sugar

Method

Step 1

Line a tray with tin foil big enough to wrap your meat later.

Step 2

Take your shoulder of pork and pull it out flat, you may need to make a couple of slight cuts to stretch it out but it will cook better this way and is easier to rub.

Step 3

Mix all of the spices together and rub half of the mix into the top side of your pork.

Step 4

Preheat your oven to 200 - 220 °C and place the pork uncovered for 30 - 40 mins. Your looking for a deep red color and where some parts are just starting to burn.

Step 5

Take it out of the oven, wrap with the foil and cook for about five hours at 150 °C.

Step 6

Remove from the oven and using two forks as claws pull the pork apart. Sprinkle the rest of the mix from earlier and mix together.
